Tigers Jaw is at a point in their careers where they
can schedule a last minute tour and still pack a room when they
come to town. That’s exactly what happen when their tour with Circa
Survive was cancelled back in January. The last time Tigers Jaw
toured was back in 2019 so they knew that it was time to hit the
road again. After hitting the drawing board, the band decided to
piece together The Last Minute Magic tour which took place in
February and made its way to California in early March.
I was lucky enough to catch Tigers Jaw in New Jersey
and I remember chatting with Brianna about heading to California
directly after the show on a 5am flight. The tour life can be
demanding at times, but it was a nice feeling for the band to be
back on the road and they welcomed that 5am wake up call with open
arms. Every night had a lot of energy and the fans were excited to
see the band on.
Tigers Jaw put out an album last year called “I
Won’t Care How You Remember Me.” The band didn’t get to do a tour
for the album, but it still received a lot of attention. In this
Brianna talked about writing songs that she wants to put out and
that have meaning at that point of her life. We also discussed a
bunch of other topics such as Brianna’s creative personality,
starting out in Scranton (including their relationship with the
Menzingers), her decision to finish college even when the band was
getting offered some big tours, Charmer being a turning point, and
when she picked up writing responsibilities. Check out the band
